AmphibiaWeb is an online system enabling anyone online to  search and retrieve information relating to amphibian biology  and conservation. This site was inspired by the global declines of  amphibians, the study of which has been hindered by the lack of  multidisplinary studies and a lack of coordination in monitoring, in  field studies, and in lab studies. We hope AmphibiaWeb will encourage a  shared vision for the study of global amphibian declines and the  conservation of remaining amphibians.

BirdLife International is the world’s largest nature conservation Partnership. Together we are 120 BirdLife Partners worldwide – one per country – and growing. It is widely recognised as the world leader in bird conservation. Rigorous science informed by practical feedback from projects on the ground in important sites and habitats enables us to implement successful conservation programmes for birds and all nature.

FishBase is an information system with key data on the biology of all fishes. Similar to an encyclopedia, FishBase contains different things for different people. For example, fisheries managers will dive into the largest existing compilation of population dynamics data; teachers and students will find numerous graphs illustrating basic concepts of fish biology; taxonomists will enjoy access to the November 2000 update ......
